Roof to Canopy

The first big design feature is the canopy.

Used a solid oak post with stainless steel foot and ran timbers back to the main structure and flitch plate. all tied in to stop the post pulling away from the main building and will happily support the weight above.

Building off one of the main beams, I'm creating the structure for the curved front. It won't hold any weight but is needed to bend the batten and give a little support to the edge of the roof boarding.
